Mondhatjuk azt is, hogy bevált formulát követ a Vivo a V50-nel. De mondhatjuk azt is, hogy ez nem meglepő, hisz másfél éve csiszolják ugyanazt a telefont, ami a V30, csak volt belőle egy V40-es változat és most itt van a V50-es. A márka hazai megítélésének jót tett, hogy a V40-nel indítottak, annak ára és tudása tökéletes egyensúlyban volt. Ahogy mindennek lennie kell. Azóta viszont eltelt megint majd’ hat hónap, a piac pedig rohan, a V50-et így ennyi pénzért nehéz lenne ajánlani. Jó a kijelző, de az elődben nagyobb volt a felbontása. Jók a kamerák, de nem hiba nélküli a teljes kép, miért is nem lehet látószöget váltani 4K-ban videózva? Gyors a töltés, de csak ha megvesszük a gyártó saját töltőfejét. A hosszú üzemidő és a sok tárhely az, ami igazán emelett a telefon mellett szól, esetleg a valamivel könnyebben kezelhető, kevésbé erős ívek a kijelzőn az elődhöz képest.

It basically borrows most of the experience and even hardware from the V40 and V30 before it, bringing in some new refinements. The main camera has been tweaked a little to now include a better OV50e sensor plus Zeiss optics for all three shooters. And there is now an even larger 6,000mAh battery with faster 90W charging. This year, the model introduces a new Dimond Shield Glass protection (in collaboration with Schott), which should be up to 50% more drop-resistant compared to the V40's first Schott glass. Of course, the trio of 50MP autofocusing cameras continue to be the star of the show.

Overall, the vivo V50 is a solid midrange smartphone. It looks like vivo decided to just package all the goodies into one V series phone and call it a day. I think this was a good idea, rather than have two V-series phones with minor differences. I don’t think you need to rush out and upgrade from the V40 Pro, though if you want a bigger battery, then certainly do it. But there’s not a lot here to make me want to move from the V40 Pro. Still, if you’re looking to upgrade from an older midrange smartphone, and you can get one of these, then the vivo V50 is a solid choice. I will add, if you can at all afford to purchase the vivo X200 Pro, that is the one I would buy over this. But price is a factor.

Az egyikben két ARM Cortex-A76 teljesítményű, egyenként legfeljebb 2,4 GHz-es, míg a másikban hat ARM Cortex-A55 energiatakarékos, egyenként legfeljebb 2,0 GHz-es mag található. RAM-ként 2133 MHz-es LPDDR4x RAM használható, belső memóriaként pedig az UFS 2.2 támogatott. A Dimensity 6300 nagyon hasonlít a régi Dimensity 6080-ashoz.

Dimensity 7300: A Dimensity 7300 egy középkategóriás processzor integrált 5G modemmel. A CPU-rész négy, akár 2,5 GHz-es ARM Cortex-A78 magot és négy, akár 2 GHz-es Cortex-A55 teljesítményű magot integrál. A SoC a modern 4 nm-es eljárással készül.
