Tudjuk persze, hogy sokaknak a katonai tesztek teljesítése alapkövetelmény, csakhogy nem véletlenül kerül több százezer forintba egy jobbfajta CAT. 100 rugóért persze jobban hangzik egy páncélozott uleFone, ez az Armor, mint mindennapos mobil mégis inkább tortúra, mint tuti törésálló telefon, hiába teljesített tucatnyi tesztet. Együtt lehet élni vele, használható kékes-dadogós HD kijelzője, lehet hívást bonyolítani róla, nem atomkatasztrófa a kamera, van NFC, B20-as LTE sáv és Google csomag, akárcsak FM-rádió és jack kimenet. Felsorolni a tudáslistát viszont még nem jelenti azt, hogy sikerült mindent optimalizálni, és ha már uleFone, a TWS fülest a strapaházába rejtő Armor 15 kapásból izgalmasabb darab. De vajon túllépi-e vele a gyártó saját árnyékát és hiányosságait, ha a 14 Próval nem sikerült?

Rugged phone makers are rapidly forming into colour order, much like the riders on the Tour de France. And, UleFone isn’t immune from doing the same calculations about what delivers the best user experience for the minimum production costs. Therefore, the SoC, camera sensor and construction are all the same as half a dozen competitor designs we’ve seen come from Chinese phone makers over the past year. What UleFone specifically did with its design was to save on GPU and 5G technology and redistribute those costs for the significantly bigger battery than most of its competitors are using. If battery life is the single most important aspect, then the Power Armor 14 Pro might be for you, unless you game heavily or you like 4K video capture. Even if battery life isn’t as necessary, the low price might be attractive. Still, it doesn’t obscure that this is a phone made to a tight price point that aims to deliver enough to be respectable across a range of capabilities without being outstanding.

The Ulefone Power Armor 14 Pro was launched in March 2022 and features a 6.52 inches IPS LCD display panel with 4G connectivity. The phone carries Gorilla Glass 3 protection along with IP68 dust/water resistance. Furthermore, the Armor 14 Pro is powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The Li-Po 10000 mAh battery is engraved in the device which is outstanding underlying competition. Under the hood, you will receive an 18W fast charging and 15 fast wireless charging support. As for the camera section, you will get a triple rear camera setup with a 20MP main along with a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, you have a 16MP front camera. With this setup, you can record 1080p videos at 30fps. In terms of internal, you are getting 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 12 OS and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
