Cserébe három Android főverzióra és négy év biztonsági frissítésre számíthatunk. Mindezért húsz ezer forinttal kell többet fizetni a WiFi-s modell esetében, ami 95 ezer pénz, az LTE képes megoldás pedig 115 ezer forintba kerül. A Nokia mellett szól ugyanakkor a már 75 ezer forintos ár, az FM-rádió, a valamivel jobb értékeket és megjelenítési minőséget biztosító panel, az IP54-es védelem és a nagyobb akku. A Unisoc szettek nem szerepelnek rosszul, de a grafikus képességek korlátozottak, a tartalomfogyasztás azért kellemes, a Samsung egy csomó extrát is kínál a készülékek közötti együttműködés és a felhasználói élmény szempontjából, de ezek a készülékek igazából alapfeladatokra valók. A Samsung kínálatában a következő árszint már 200 ezer forint, ott a WiFi-s Tab S7 FE található akciósan, mert amúgy 240 ezer lenne.

The Galaxy Tab A8 is Samsung's answer to a sister question: what is 'enough' of a tablet for most people? With a colourful and bright 1080p display it ticks the screen box, its four speakers are loud and detailed, its battery life is dependable if not exceptional, it has a functional and comfortable design and mature software - all plus points, if not massive ones. The Redmi Pad has a faster higher resolution display, a more powerful processor and a nicer set of colour options, but comes with MIUI, which isn't the best, and is potentially more difficult to repair due to a lack of brick and mortar stores. The Nokia T21 has a few tricks, but a glacially slow processor that sees it struggle. Against the two, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 might not excite, but it is a mature and polished device that will be a comfortable companion for any who will have it.

It’ll take you an age to get back up to 100% from empty with the bundled charger, but that’s not such a pressing issue in the tablet world.

Getting this tablet for kids to attend online classes is also a very good choice. At the price of RM999, I think it’s actually fairly priced. The screen could definitely be better, but overall I think it’s a decent product. Just gotta manage your expectations when it comes to tablet prices as it is very different compared to phone prices.
