Xiaomi has launched the 2027 Redmi TV X Mini LED lineup in China, and compared to the recently unveiled TV S Pro 2027 series, the Redmi-branded smart TVs are affordable. Of course, they don't have identical specs.

For instance, the top-end model within the current Redmi TV X Mini LED 2027 series has 864 color control zones, and the lineup maxes out at 85 inches. In comparison, the Xiaomi TV S Pro 2027 line has a 98-inch model with up to 4,860 color control zones.

There are other notable differences, including the peak brightness rating being 1,300 nits, while the TV S Pro 2027 series maxes out at 5,500 nits. Beyond the differences, the new Redmi Mini LED smart TVs offer many performance-focused features.

One of them is that the entire lineup has a native 180Hz refresh rate at 4K, while the dedicated game mode can push it to 360Hz by lowering the resolution. There's VRR support, and for a smooth gaming experience, the new Redmi smart TV lineup has AMD FreeSync Premium.

The company further highlights support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and, with Filmmaker Mode, is said to offer a movie-watching experience the way directors intend. There's a 5-core A55 SoC under the hood, which is paired with 3GB of unspecified RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Other highlights include a four-speaker audio setup with Harman AudioEFX, HyperOS 4, and a decent connectivity selection with two HDMI 2.1 ports (6-feet Anker cable curr. $8.99 on Amazon). Xiaomi is offering the Redmi TV X Mini LED series in the following sizes and prices in China:

• 55-inch with 432 color control zones for CNY 2,705 (around $403)
• 65-inch with 528 color control zones for CNY 3,411 (about $508)
• 75-inch with 720 color control zones for CNY 4,117 (around $614)
• 85-inch with 864 color control zones for CNY 5,293 (about $789)

It's unclear whether Xiaomi will launch these affordable RGB Mini LED TVs globally, but it's worth noting that the TV X 2026 series wasn't officially released outside China.
