It is not difficult to recommend the Oukitel WP9 over its other rivals at this price especially if you need/care about the oversized battery. The hardware that powers it offers good performance at times but perplexing numbers at others, which points to an unbalanced specification sheet. As such, expect Oukitel to slash the price of the WP9 sooner rather than later especially as Amazon Prime Day looms. Other than the pricing conundrum, the WP9 needs to have Android 11 to be taken seriously. Will it come in a future update? We wouldn’t count on it given the poor historical record of Chinese rugged smartphone vendors in general when it comes to firmware.

Of the obvious pluses can be noted: display, performance, build quality, design, autonomy and the price of the device. Of the minuses, except for the weak camera, namely evening (night) photo and video shooting. But I have already said, the camera is not the main thing here, and they did not bet on it initially. I would say that Oukitel WP27 is not a bad mid-ranger among the protected budget phones. There is nothing in it that would strongly distinguish it from its competitors, both for good and for bad. In general, if you come across discounts, you can take it, the smartphone is not bad. Not a bad mid-ranger among protected budget devices.

As with all rugged phones, this has a very specific use case. It is very good at completing tasks where you would be outside, on a building site or in an otherwise dirty or dangerous environment. Dropping it in such areas, assuming you don't lose it in the process, will likely result in absolutely no damage to the device, although I do wonder how the polycarbonate backplate will hold up after prolonged use and exposure to rough environments, but there's also a TPU case included if owners are worried about damaging or scratching the camouflage print.. As I have said in previous rugged phone reviews, you can probably forget about using it as a main phone and sticking it in your Bermuda shorts or pant pockets. If you do, however, the ever-present risk of being pantsied by your own phone will haunt you. This is true even for a big guy like myself, it is proper heavy at 328 g. In fact I opted to keep it in my backpack when I was out shooting pictures with it.

The Oukitel WP30 Pro is trying to put a foot in each of these camps by not being excessively heavy but packing in a substantial battery that provides extended running time. But alongside the headline features, Oukitel always likes to put something unusual in its phones, and in this design, the back of the phone has a small 1.8-inch display that can display a clock. That it didn’t have a way to show notifications is mildly disappointing, but some of the clock options are very impressive. For the $399 that Oukitel is asking for, the WP30 Pro is an imposing device that combines full IP68/69 water and dust-resistant experience, good cameras, and a great battery life. Integrál egy Cat-13 LTE modemet (4G) és egy ARM Mali-G57 MP2 grafikus kártyát. A régebbi Helio G96-hoz képest a G99 az újabb 6 nm-es eljárással készül, és magasabb órajelekkel rendelkezik.

A Dimensity 700 egy gyors középkategóriás SoC integrált 5G modemmel. Két gyors ARM Cortex-A76 magot tartalmaz akár 2,2 GHz-en, valamint hat energiatakarékos Cortex-A55 magot akár 2 GHz-en.
Dimensity 8050: A Dimensity 8100 egy középkategóriás processzor integrált 5G modemmel. A CPU négy gyors, akár 2,85 GHz-es ARM Cortex-A78 magot és négy hatékony, akár 2 GHz-es Cortex-A55 magot integrál.
Dimensity 6100+: A Dimensity 6100 Plus egy alsó középkategóriás SoC integrált 5G modemmel. Két gyors ARM Cortex-A76 magot tartalmaz legfeljebb 2,2 GHz-en és hat energiatakarékos Cortex-A55 magot legfeljebb 2 GHz-en. A specifikációk hasonlóak a régi Dimensity 700 SoC-hez, és szinte azonosak a 6020-as modellel.
