If anyone came up to me and asked me to recommend a high-end gaming laptop the Medion Erazer Major X20 is now what I’d suggest. Performance is extremely impressive regardless of the price and the keyboard and speaker system can hold their own against the best on the market. If you consider other good 16-inch gaming laptops like Acer’s Predator Helios 16 and the Asus ROG Scar Strix 16 they offer performance advantages that are marginal at best and neither has a keyboard that can touch the Medion. Yes, they have Mini LED displays but I’ve yet to be convinced that this is a must-have feature on a gaming laptop that commands a price premium. As a value-for-money proposition, the Medion Erazer Major X20 has no equal and, battery life aside, no weaknesses or faults worth mentioning. If I had £3,000 to spend on a gaming laptop, I’d spend £2,000 on the Medion and take a holiday to somewhere exotic with the change.

The Medion Erazer Major 16 X1 is a very powerful gaming laptop for its price, offering fantastic gaming performance, a capable port selection, a vibrant IPS screen, and a comfortable keyboard and trackpad. The battery life isn’t brilliant, though, and you may prefer an OLED screen at this price. Its performance is significantly stronger than the MSI Stealth A16 AI+ (2025) that also has a 5070 Ti inside, although what MSI’s option lacks in some potency, it makes up for in portability and style. The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI is a thorn in Medion’s side, though, as it has the exact same internal CPU and GPU, plus a high-refresh-rate OLED screen, and is some £500 cheaper. The Medion Erazer Major 16 X1 is an excellent choice for all-out performance at its price, though if you want an OLED screen or a more portable chassis, you will be looking elsewhere. Ultra 7 255HX: Arrow Lake architektúrán alapuló mobil csúcskategóriás processzor játéknoteszgépekhez. 20 magot kínál, amelyek 8 gyors teljesítményű, akár 5,2 GHz-es és 12 kisebb hatékonyságú, akár 4,5 GHz-es órajelű magból állnak. A CPU 30 MB L2 gyorsítótárhoz és 36 MB L3 gyorsítótárhoz fér hozzá, és 55 wattos TDP-vel van specifikálva.
