EN→HUThe HP ZBook Firefly G10 is a good, perhaps even great, laptop. It’s attractive, well-built, and enjoyable to use. It has a large, tactile keyboard, a beautiful OLED display, and plenty of connectivity. It’s not even slow; performance isn’t a highlight, to be sure, but the laptop handles basic productivity without issue. But none of this matters for one simple reason: it’s far too expensive. Starting at $1,850, and with some configurations that exceed $5,000, the ZBook Firefly G10 goes head-to-head with the Dell XPS 15 and XPS 17, the Apple MacBook Pro 14 and Pro 16, the Razer Blade 16, and the ThinkPad P1, among other top-tier laptops. The ZBook can’t keep up, even with its strengths. It’s not a bad laptop but—absent a huge sale or other discount—you should skip it.

EN→HUThe HP ZBook Firefly 16 G10 left us with a lot of positive impressions. It also has two major cons – the high price and the low performance. A potent hardware is a must for a notebook that is branded as a workstation. Sure, the CPU can maintain high core clocks in short and medium loads, but in longer processor stress, the power limit is just 17W which leads to unimpressive frequencies and that’s a pity for such a laptop. It looks like HP has tuned this notebook for comfort over performance. In CPU-intensive tasks, the fan is unexpectedly quiet and the keyboard is just warm, but not hot. In daily usage, the single fan is almost dead silent. The battery life with the optional 76Wh battery is very long – 25 hours of Web browsing is a great result! The two SODIMMs can handle up to 64GB of DDR5-5200MHz memory in dual-channel mode which is up to the standards for a workstation. On the flip side, there is just one M.2 slot for Gen 4 SSDs.

EN→HUThe HP ZBook Firefly 16 G11 is a capable business machine that offers good comfort during heavy loads, great input devices, and a modern port selection with two Thunderbolt 4 ports. However, the not-so-high P and E-core frequencies of 1.75 GHz / 1.01 GHz in longer stress don’t correspond to a device in a workstation category where sustained performance is always important. Still, the system responsiveness during normal office tasks seems on point despite the single-channel memory of our notebook. The snappy SSD (WD PC SN810 SDCPNRY-1T00-1006) perhaps also helps in this scenario. The 1200p IPS display (BOE0C31) is suitable for work. The PWM-free unit offers wide viewing angles and 327 nits of max brightness.

Intel Meteor Lake-H:
Ultra 7 155H: Egy csúcskategóriás Meteor Lake chip, amely 2023 decemberében debütált.
