Given its mainstream class, Aspire V3-574 can definitely offer you a lot. It’s relatively thin and light (23.9mm, 2.26kg), and it looks very elegant thanks to the nano-imprint patterning aluminum top cover. It has a sturdy construction, which means that it will probably serve you for years. V3-574 has a comfortable backlit keyboard and a nice, large touchpad that supports many gestures. The IPS screen has great viewing angles and high resolution, but it’s not suitable for work with colors due to its poor sRGB color gamut coverage. It’s more than enough for typical tasks like surfing the Web or watching movies, and the latter is really enjoyable with the V15’s quality speakers.

Considering it's just £40 more than the impressive Dell Inspiron 15 5000 but is more powerful, it an obvious Best Buy laptop. Az Acer Aspire V3-574G nem rossz notebook, hiszen jó dizájnja van, matt, IPS-technológiával készült kijelzőt tartalmaz, jó a billentyűzete és a tapipadja is, teljesítménye pedig még ahhoz is elég, hogy játsszunk vele. 200 ezer forintos árkategóriában érdemes rajta komolyan elgondolkodni, de a tesztünkben szereplő modellt érdemes inkább SSD-vel kérni. Egyetlen komoly hátránya viszont még így is marad a gépnek, mégpedig a (relatív) rövid üzemidő. Akinek viszont ez nem fő szempont, mert bőven elég, ha már 4,5-5 órát el tud távolodni a konnektor mellől, az nem fog csalódni az Acer masinájában.

At the end of the day, the latest generation Aspire V15 keeps what’s good from the Broadwell variant, but also misses big-time with the screen. The notebook can be found for around €800, offering relatively powerful and capable hardware with great keyboard and touchpad experience. However, the previous V3-574 generation offered better screen quality, and if you are able to find the Broadwell version, it sells for a little more than €700. So basically, you get better image quality and mostly the same performance for a bit less money. Yes, V3-575’s screen has 100% SRGB color gamut coverage and we had better web surfing runtimes because of that, but some of the screen properties like the narrow viewing angles, lower contrast ratio and PWM across 0-99% brightness levels somewhat detract from the positive experience with the notebook.
