Finally the question arises whether you should buy Asus Zenfone 3S Max or not? I really don’t know why a customer would spend 14K on a smartphone that is only a powerbank. Powerbanks are already available in market, a smartphone on the other hand is something else. There are flaws in the Zenfone 3S Max and it’s not the best value for money. You can look for the other options available in market like Lenovo Vibe K5 Note, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Huawei Honor 6X.

This creates a bit of overlap and confusion in Asus's lineup, especially since by all indications, the larger battery doesn't help much. Overall, we expected more from this phone's headline feature, especially since it has only that to use as a weapon against the potent Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and the recently launched Honor 6X (Review). We hope that software updates do something to improve battery life - and while Asus is at it, we'd really like to see some common sense applied to ZenUI as well.
