Sikeres keverék: Az Acer nemes külsőbe oltott elegendő teljesítményt, miközben nem felejtett el foglalkozni a hő- és zajkibocsátással sem. A ház elegáns designja kifejezetten tetszett, különösen a kivételesen keskeny keretek. Ez még nem minden: az Acer stabil fém elemeket használt, jó minőségben összeszerelve, csak a billentyűzet területét lehet benyomni. A billentyűk útja kissé rövid, de a lenyomásukkor stabil érzetet keltenek, és halkak is. A fényes IPS kijelző Full HD felbontású, fényerő, valamint kontraszt terén is jól teljesít. A Swift 5 hardvere nagyon kiegyensúlyozott, és a processzor terhelés alatt majdnem a teljes potenciálját ki tudja használni. Ezt a vele összehasonlítható eszközökről nem lehet elmondani. A teljesítményéhez képest pedig a melegedése is egészen barátságos. A subnotebookok utolsó fontos jellemzője az üzemidő. Ugyan a Swift 5 nem bírja olyan sokáig, mint a Dell XPS 13, még így is kibír egy teljes munkanapot konnektor nélkül.

Az új Acer Swift 5 a subnotebookok majdnem minden fontos jellemzőjét egyesíti magában, és 900 eurós, belépő szintű készülékeknél szokványos áron kapható.

Amennyiben valaki sokat utazik, úgy a Dell XPS 13 9360-ra érdemes  egy pillantást vetnie. Matt kijelzője, és nagyon hosszú üzemideje meggyőző. Ha pedig még könnyebbet és vékonyabbat keres: az Asus rivális modellje is szóba jöhet, 1500 euróért.
